Housekeeping Supervisor – Hotel

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the daily operations of the rooms department at Mövenpick Resort & Residences Aqaba. You will ensure that guest rooms and public areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort, while delivering friendly and engaging service throughout the guest journey.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the work of room attendants, ensuring cleaning sequences and standards are followed.
• Inspect guest rooms, corridors and storage areas daily to guarantee impeccable cleanliness.
• Manage inventory of amenities, extra beds, flower arrangements and ensure they are ready before guest arrival.
• Handle guest concerns promptly, communicate with relevant departments and follow up to create memorable experiences.
• Conduct on‑the‑job training, monitor employee grooming and performance, and maintain effective employee relations.
• Report lost & found items, “Do not disturb” rooms, and any security incidents to housekeeping and security teams.
• Participate in daily briefings with housekeeping leadership and ensure smooth shift handovers.

Required profile

• Service‑focused personality with strong interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within housekeeping is an asset.
• Ability to lead by example and maintain high standards of presentation.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Opera or a related property management system.
