Math Teacher (IB)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Math Teacher to join Amman Academy, an IB World School in Amman, Jordan. The successful candidate will deliver mathematics instruction to students aged 3‑19 in a bilingual English‑Arabic environment, supporting the school’s commitment to educational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess mathematics lessons across the IB curriculum.
• Prepare and mark assignments, tests and examinations.
• Conduct demo classes and subject‑specific assessments as part of the recruitment process.
• Participate in multiple interview stages and written assessments.
• Collaborate with colleagues to uphold the AA Values of creativity, integrity, well‑being, collaboration, respect, discipline and educational excellence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field.
• 2‑4 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international or IB setting.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is advantageous.
• Familiarity with the IB system is a plus.
