Operations Analyst – Amman

About the role

The World Bank is seeking an Operations Analyst to support its Mashreq Department in Amman. The role involves contributing to the design, monitoring and analysis of development projects across the MENA region, helping clients address critical development challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Mashreq Department in designing and monitoring development projects across the MENA region.
• Assist in data collection, analysis and reporting for projects in Jordan, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon and Syria.
• Contribute to advisory services and analytics that inform client decision‑making.

Required profile

• Fluency in English and Arabic.
• Relevant academic background (e.g., economics, public policy, development studies).
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
