Senior IT Administrator – Insurance Systems

About the role

We are seeking a Senior IT Administrator with deep knowledge of the insurance industry to manage and optimise our core IT infrastructure. The role involves supporting business‑critical applications, ensuring high availability, and collaborating with non‑technical users to resolve issues.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor servers, networks, storage, and backup solutions.
• Administer Windows Server environments, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Support virtualization platforms (e.g., Hyper‑V) and manage disaster recovery procedures.
• Provide technical support for Microsoft 365, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams and related collaboration tools.
• Assist with integrations between insurance core systems and third‑party portals.
• Troubleshoot Oracle databases, including SQL, PL/SQL, Forms, and Reports.
• Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures, endpoint protection, and access controls.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of experience in IT administration, system administration, or infrastructure support.
• Strong background in Oracle development and database troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of insurance processes such as policy administration, underwriting, claims, and regulatory reporting.
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
