Test Automation Analyst

About the role

RS2 is seeking a Test Automation Analyst to join its QA team. You will translate functional requirements into reliable automated tests, ensuring new features are robust and regression suites keep the end‑to‑end system healthy.

Key responsibilities

• Convert complex functional specifications into high‑impact automated test scripts.
• Maintain and optimise end‑to‑end regression suites for rapid defect detection.
• Leverage the full testing toolkit to create automated cases and generate precise data sets.
• Implement automated assertions across databases, APIs, and file types (CSV, XML, JSON, flat files).
• Identify gaps in the current toolset and work to close them.
• Adopt a “reuse‑first” mindset, extending existing test modules to accelerate new automation.

Required profile

• Strong background in database and data‑integrity testing.
• Proven ability to parse and validate various file formats programmatically.
• Effective collaborator with developers, product owners, and analysts.
• Experience managing long‑running regression suites and understanding system‑wide impact of changes.
