Account Manager I - Food Partners, Jordan

About the role

Careem is looking for an Account Manager to join its Food team in Jordan. The role owns and nurtures relationships with restaurant partners so they can grow and succeed on the Careem platform, helping optimize partner performance, improve operational metrics and drive strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the single point of contact for restaurant partners, handling day-to-day operational issues and merchant queries and driving high Partner NPS
• Drive order volume and revenue growth for food delivery and Dine Out segments across the portfolio
• Negotiate and manage Partner Visibility discounts, promotional funding and ad revenue through CPC campaigns and top-banner placements
• Monitor and improve operational KPIs such as wait time ratio, cancellation rates, outlet availability and item-level stock compliance
• Optimize merchant store pages by managing pricing, images, descriptions and menu layouts to boost conversion
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Supply and Finance to run joint growth strategies and resolve account-level blockers

Required profile

• 2-4 years of experience in account management, partner success, business development or similar roles, preferably in tech, e-commerce or F&B
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics or a related field
• Proven track record of managing external stakeholders and influencing decisions
• Strong analytical skills, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a problem-solving mindset

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and data interpretation
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
