Analytical Research Trainee – Pharmaceutical Lab

About the role

Hikma Pharmaceuticals is seeking a motivated Trainee in Analytical Research to support the design and execution of laboratory projects aimed at developing new pharmaceutical products and improving existing technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Follow departmental policies, SOPs and day‑to‑day operational procedures.
• Implement analytical research activities, including initiation, design, routine procedures and reporting of issues.
• Conduct development work on basic pharmaceutical formulations and support scale‑up/technology transfer.
• Prepare written reports, publications and documentation to present experimental results.
• Summarise and critically evaluate study outcomes to generate new hypotheses and test experiments.
• Participate in bench‑to‑pilot scale development and assist technology transfer to commercial plants.
• Maintain a knowledge base by tracking relevant publications and emerging technologies.

Required profile

• Demonstrates innovative thinking, genuine compassion and collaborative problem‑solving.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to present technical information clearly.
• Ability to summarise data, evaluate results and contribute to hypothesis generation.
