Associate Director – Global Procurement

About the role

The Associate Director – Global Procurement leads end‑to‑end sourcing initiatives across key categories, driving cost efficiency and strengthening supplier partnerships. This senior position aligns procurement strategy with overall business objectives while ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead procurement and strategic sourcing activities for assigned categories.
• Develop and execute cost‑optimization strategies aligned with business goals.
• Manage supplier sourcing, negotiations, contract lifecycle, and performance evaluations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers.
• Ensure adherence to procurement policies, internal controls, and governance standards.
• Collaborate with finance, operations, and supply‑chain teams to identify savings and process improvements.
• Prepare procurement reports, dashboards, and performance metrics for management.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives and provide leadership to procurement teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement or a related field.
• Extensive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply‑chain management.
• Proven track record in vendor management, contract negotiation and procurement strategy.
• Leadership experience managing teams or large procurement portfolios.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Experience in FMCG, retail, shared services or auditing firms is a plus.
