Collections Officer

About the role

This is a full-time, on-site role responsible for managing overdue accounts, following up with customers on outstanding payments, and supporting timely collections while maintaining professional and respectful communication. The Collections Officer works closely with the Customer Experience and Finance teams to resolve payment discrepancies and improve the collections process.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor account status and identify overdue payments.
• Contact customers regarding overdue payments and arrange repayment plans where applicable.
• Update collection records and maintain accurate documentation.
• Escalate complex cases to senior management.
• Collaborate with Customer Experience and Finance teams to resolve payment discrepancies.
• Support improvements to the collections process.

Required profile

• Experience in collections, banking, fintech, financial services, or customer service.
• Strong negotiation, follow‑up, and debt collection skills.
• Good analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in Arabic and English.
• Customer‑focused and professional approach to sensitive payment conversations.
• Comfortable using CRM, collections, or other digital systems.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet defined collection KPIs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (preferred).
• Willingness to work on‑site in Amman.
