Dental Hygienist – Full‑time Clinical Role

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Dental Hygienist to join our patient‑centered dental clinic in Amman. The successful candidate will work on‑site, providing comprehensive cleanings and supporting the dentist in delivering high‑quality preventive and restorative care.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing and prophylaxis.
• Assess oral health, identify signs of periodontal disease and document findings.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
• Maintain strict infection‑control standards and sterilize instruments.
• Prepare and organize treatment rooms and update patient records.
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth clinical workflow.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in dentistry and dental care, with knowledge of oral anatomy and common conditions.
• Proficiency in hygiene practices and dental prophylaxis techniques.
• Ability to assess, monitor and assist in managing periodontal disease.
• Valid dental hygiene license or certification as required by Jordanian regulations.
• Experience in a clinical dental setting, familiar with infection‑control and patient‑safety protocols.
• Excellent communication skills to educate and motivate patients.
• Attention to detail with strong documentation abilities.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Dental Hygiene or a related field.
