Experienced Associate – Audit & Assurance (External Audit)

About the role

As an Experienced Associate in Audit & Assurance at Deloitte’s Jordanian Resources Center (JRC) in Saudi Arabia, you will support external audit engagements for a diverse client base. You will work closely with on‑shore and off‑shore teams to deliver high‑quality audit services while building trust with stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and adapt audit templates and referral instructions to define audit scope and focus areas.
• Liaise with on‑shore and offshore Centres of Excellence, ensuring accurate and complete information exchange.
• Track deliverables from component auditors and integrate risks, controls, procedures, and findings into the audit file.
• Articulate audit quality milestones and contribute to the overall audit quality framework.
• Prepare documentation anticipating reviewer questions and differentiate accounting judgments from audit judgments.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to build trust and credibility with stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of regulatory impact, risk management, and business processes.
• Ability to analyse key statistics and industry data prior to engagements.
• Effective communication and coordination skills across global teams.
