About the role
The Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is an international humanitarian organisation that assists refugees and internally displaced persons worldwide, providing emergency aid, advocating for rights and promoting sustainable solutions. With a vision of a dignified life for all displaced, DRC operates based on its values of humanity, respect, independence, neutrality and participation. The Head of Programme in Jordan will report directly to the Country Director and work closely with senior management to shape and deliver the strategic programme agenda that supports DRC’s mission in the country.
Key responsibilities
- Provide strategic programme direction and ensure alignment with DRC’s overall mission and values.
- Report to and collaborate closely with the Country Director on programme planning, implementation and monitoring.
