Health Club Receptionist

About the role

The Health Club Receptionist serves as the primary point of contact for guests using the club’s recreation facilities. You will ensure a welcoming atmosphere, provide information, and support safe participation in activities.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and acknowledge all guests, addressing service needs and assisting individuals with disabilities.
• Provide information about pools, beach, entertainment zones, fitness center, and child‑activity areas.
• Encourage, register, and schedule guests for recreation activities and private functions.
• Promote rules and safety regulations; observe activities and respond to emergencies according to procedures.
• Deliver cashier services, process payments for rentals, activities, and retail sales using POS systems.
• Assist injured guests until emergency services arrive and report accidents or unsafe conditions.
• Clean and maintain facilities, equipment, and supplies.
• Maintain professional appearance, confidentiality, and compliance with company policies.
• Answer telephone calls with proper etiquette and maintain positive team relationships.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lb (assistance for heavier items).
• Clear, professional communication skills.
• Attention to safety, ability to follow emergency procedures.
• Customer‑service orientation and willingness to assist guests of all abilities.

Required skills

• Operation of point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
• Basic computer usage for data entry and information retrieval.
• Cash handling and payment processing.
