Implementation Specialist

About the role

The Implementation Specialist supports network deployment projects by acting as the primary technical contact for on‑site technicians, troubleshooting complex issues and driving process improvements through automation and scripting. The role ensures smooth project execution, accurate documentation and effective issue resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main technical point of contact during project implementations.
• Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls and wireless devices.
• Support WAN circuit turn‑ups and implement network technologies such as VLANs, OSPF, BGP, ACLs and VPNs.
• Work with multiple vendors including Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto and Cradlepoint.
• Develop scripts and automation to increase efficiency.
• Collaborate with Engineering to maintain runbooks and standard processes.
• Act as an escalation point for technical issues and track them in project documentation.
• Mentor team members and support their development.

Required profile

• CCNA certification or equivalent networking experience.
• Fortinet NSE4 certification or equivalent.
• Strong networking fundamentals and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in WAN, telecom or Wi‑Fi environments (preferred).
• Process‑driven mindset with good documentation and communication abilities.
