Operations Manager – Low Voltage

About the role

The Operations Manager – Low Voltage will lead day‑to‑day activities at our manufacturing facility, ensuring production targets are met while upholding high quality and safety standards. This role drives operational excellence through resource optimization, process improvement, and cross‑functional collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement production plans and schedules to satisfy customer demand.
• Allocate human and equipment resources efficiently, aligning staffing with production needs.
• Oversee quality control processes and work with the quality team to maintain product standards.
• Identify and execute process improvements, applying lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
• Monitor manufacturing costs, enforce budget constraints, and implement cost‑saving measures.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and enforce safety protocols.
• Coordinate with supply‑chain teams to secure raw materials and manage supplier relationships.
• Lead manufacturing teams, fostering accountability, teamwork, and continuous learning.
• Establish and track KPIs to measure production efficiency and drive data‑based improvements.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and quality assurance on cross‑functional initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven ability to recruit, develop, and retain high‑performing staff.
• Experience managing performance, addressing low performers, and ensuring equitable treatment.
• Strong understanding of delegation authority matrices and company policies.
• Full accountability for operational outcomes in line with company guidelines.
