Operations Manager – Low Voltage Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking an Operations Manager to lead the day‑to‑day activities of our low‑voltage manufacturing plant. The role is responsible for ensuring production targets are met while maintaining high quality, safety and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute production plans and schedules aligned with customer demand.
• Allocate and manage human and equipment resources to optimise utilisation.
• Implement and oversee quality control processes in partnership with the quality team.
• Identify and drive process improvements using lean manufacturing and continuous‑improvement methodologies.
• Monitor manufacturing costs, enforce budgetary limits and introduce cost‑saving measures.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and enforce safety protocols.
• Coordinate with supply‑chain functions to secure timely raw‑material availability.
• Lead, coach and develop manufacturing teams, fostering accountability and teamwork.
• Define, track and analyse production KPIs to drive efficiency gains.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance and quality departments to resolve operational challenges.
