Procurement Services Officer – Multi‑Country Support (Temporary)

About the role

The Procurement Services Officer provides multi‑country technical support to UNICEF Country Offices, government counterparts and partners. Based in Amman, the role ensures effective procurement processes across Egypt, Iraq, Jordan and Lebanon.

Key responsibilities

• Identify supply needs and assess country readiness for procurement activities.
• Develop and implement engagement modalities for Procurement Services.
• Follow up on operational and transactional requirements to ensure timely delivery.
• Serve as a focal point and deployable technical capacity for selected Country Offices.
• Liaise with government counterparts, partners and internal supply teams.
• Report to the Procurement Services Specialist and coordinate with the Supply Financing Centre.

Required profile

• Experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in humanitarian or development settings.
• Familiarity with UNICEF or UN procurement policies and procedures.
• Ability to work across multiple countries and coordinate with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and coordination skills.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an asset.
