Training Specialist

About the role

The Training Specialist will lead professional development for early‑grade teachers (KG–G3) and supervisors, ensuring alignment with Ministry of Education standards. This individual‑contributor position supports curriculum preparation, session facilitation, logistics, and data management across multiple project sites.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver and facilitate blended professional development for teachers, supervisors, and Master Teachers.
• Adapt training content and create Arabic‑first guides, presentations, job aids, and checklists for literacy and numeracy programs.
• Prepare training schedules, coordinate communications and logistics with MoE directorates, schools, partners, and vendors, and maintain attendance records.
• Upload and manage learning‑platform content, administer assessments, validate participant data, and support dashboards and quality reports.
• Apply observation and quality‑assurance tools, support calibration activities, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with data protection, safeguarding, financial, and incident‑reporting requirements.
• Collaborate closely with technical, operations, MEL, and partner teams to deliver project outputs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience supporting teacher professional development or school‑based training; early‑grade experience preferred.
• Strong facilitation skills and knowledge of adult learning, inclusive/UDL design, literacy, and numeracy.
