Young Engineer Development Program

About the role

Join JTI’s Young Engineer Development Program, a two‑year rotational scheme designed to give recent engineering graduates hands‑on experience across multiple business areas. Participants will work on real projects, receive structured training and build a solid foundation for a long‑term engineering career.

Key responsibilities

• Rotate through Production Finance, Manufacturing Services and Engineering, gaining experience in costing, budget control, procurement and project planning.
• Lead Continuous Improvement (CI) projects to optimise processes and drive operational excellence.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement CI initiatives and improve key performance indicators.
• Attend factory orientations and training sessions to understand operations and standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Demonstrated leadership experience or potential through academic, extracurricular or professional activities.
• Willingness to adapt and learn in a fast‑paced environment.
