Youth Development Programs Senior Officer

About the role

The Youth Development Programs Senior Officer will support the design, implementation and monitoring of language training, professional capacity‑building and youth empowerment projects. Reporting to the English Language & Institutional Development Programs Manager, the role also assists with administrative operations for testing, enrolments, grading and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with program instructors and trainers on reporting, attendance, materials and milestone documentation.
• Perform administrative tasks such as certificate printing, procurement of services and materials, and data collection for assigned programs.
• Prepare statistical and narrative reports on program activities and results for senior management review.
• Assist in developing budgets, proposals and budget re‑alignment exercises as needed.
• Support field visits to program sites, assess quality, monitor compliance and provide logistical support.
• Oversee management, coordination, quality assurance, marketing, enrolments and closing of public courses for young learners during summer and winter camps.

Required profile

• Experience coordinating youth and workforce development grants or donor‑funded programs.
• Ability to work with teachers, donors and clients to ensure compliance and timely updates.
• Strong organizational skills for handling enrolments, scheduling and reporting.
• Capability to conduct field visits and support program evaluation.
