English Teacher – Montessori & IB School

About the role

The Modern Montessori School, a CIS‑accredited IB Continuum World School, is seeking an enthusiastic English Teacher to join its team in August 2026. You will work in a vibrant, inclusive environment that blends Montessori methodology with the International Baccalaureate programme, fostering independent, globally‑mindful learners.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons that align with the school’s curriculum, policies and external assessment requirements.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of each student, ensuring they are challenged and supported.
• Assess student progress regularly, both in‑class and at home, and provide targeted feedback.
• Maintain a positive, collaborative classroom atmosphere where students feel valued and are encouraged to take learning risks.
• Collaborate with colleagues, share best practices and contribute to the school’s learning community.

Required profile

• Qualified English teacher with experience in primary or secondary education.
• Demonstrated ability to design differentiated lessons and assess student outcomes.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to fostering an inclusive, student‑centred environment.
• Willingness to work within Montessori and IB pedagogical frameworks.
