About the role
The Restaurant Manager will oversee all aspects of the restaurant, bar/lounge and room‑service operations at the Amman Marriott Hotel. This full‑time position focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences while driving financial performance and maintaining high sanitation standards.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise daily restaurant, bar and room‑service operations, stepping in on the floor during peak periods.
- Assist with menu planning and ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation and liquor laws.
- Maintain service and cleanliness standards across all food‑and‑beverage areas.
- Review staffing levels, schedule employees and ensure operational and financial targets are met.
- Identify training needs, develop and implement training plans for the team.
- Lead, coach and mentor staff, fostering a culture of trust, respect and high performance.
- Monitor guest and employee satisfaction and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of food‑and‑beverage experience, **or** a 2‑year degree in Food Service Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, etc., with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Proven ability to manage a team, communicate effectively and make sound business decisions.
- Strong understanding of local, state and federal liquor regulations and food‑handling standards.
