Senior Assessment Officer – Cash & Markets

About the role

IMPACT Initiatives is seeking a Senior Assessment Officer to lead cash and market assessments in the occupied Palestinian territory (oPt). The role is based in Amman, Jordan, and will support evidence‑based humanitarian programming during the post‑ceasefire period.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, design and oversee the full assessment cycle, from research design to data collection, analysis and reporting.
• Produce high‑quality assessment reports, briefing notes and dissemination materials for internal teams and partners.
• Coordinate with ACTED and other implementing partners to ensure alignment with project objectives and IMPACT guidelines.
• Monitor and evaluate assessment outcomes, providing recommendations for future interventions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in humanitarian research, cash assistance or market analysis.
• Strong analytical and writing abilities, with capacity to translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Interest in the oPt context and familiarity with humanitarian response dynamics.
