Business Development Manager

About the role

GT Medical is seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager – Medical Devices to identify, evaluate, and develop new business opportunities within the medical devices sector. The ideal candidate will translate market insights into actionable opportunities and support sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the medical devices industry.
• Conduct market research to assess industry trends, demand, competitive landscape, and growth areas.
• Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Establish and maintain relationships with manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, and strategic partners.
• Lead commercial discussions, negotiate pricing, contractual terms, and partnership structures.
• Evaluate commercial feasibility, develop business cases, financial projections, and opportunity assessments.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, regulatory, and other internal stakeholders to implement new opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in business development, commercial development, or strategic partnerships, preferably in medical devices or healthcare.
• Strong understanding of market research, commercial evaluation, and business planning.
• Proven ability to identify and develop new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
• Experience in commercial negotiations and stakeholder relationship management.
• Analytical, presentation, and communication skills with a proactive, results‑oriented approach.
