Loss Prevention Officer

About the role

The Loss Prevention Officer is responsible for safeguarding guests, employees and assets at a hospitality property in Amman. You will patrol the premises, monitor security systems and respond swiftly to any incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property and control access to rooms and entrances.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarm, duress and fire‑life‑safety systems.
• Conduct daily hazard inspections and lock entrances when required.
• Respond to accidents, provide first aid/CPR, call EMS and document incidents.
• Defuse disturbances, escort unwelcome persons and coordinate with external assistance.
• Complete incident reports, shift summaries and maintain confidentiality of all security records.
• Investigate incidents, gather evidence and interview relevant parties.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lb unassisted.
• Clear communication skills and professional appearance.
• Willingness to follow company policies, safety training and confidentiality rules.
• Physical fitness to respond quickly to emergencies.
