Senior Accountant – Food & Beverage

About the role

Al-Maysarah Holding is seeking a Senior Accountant to lead financial operations within its Food & Beverage (F&B) division in Amman. The role focuses on ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and cost control for a dynamic hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements and management reports in accordance with IFRS and local regulations.
• Develop, monitor, and analyze budgets, cost structures, and variance reports for the F&B sector.
• Manage tax compliance, filing, and liaison with external auditors.
• Oversee day‑to‑day accounting activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month‑end close.
• Implement and maintain ERP and accounting software solutions to streamline processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in the F&B industry.
• Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA is a strong plus.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team and collaborate across functions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Accounting Software and ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local financial regulations.
• Experience in budget preparation, cost management, and tax compliance.
