Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The role will support daily accounting operations, payroll processing and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting activities and financial transactions.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and perform account reconciliations.
• Process monthly payroll, maintaining accurate records of salaries, deductions, benefits and related payments.
• Coordinate payroll inputs with HR, handling new hires, resignations and employee changes.
• Ensure compliance with payroll, tax and social security regulations.
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger activities.
• Support monthly and year‑end closing processes.
• Monitor cash flow, expenses and financial records.
• Assist internal and external audits and provide accurate financial analysis to management.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting and payroll processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant accounting/finance experience, including hands‑on payroll experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Good understanding of payroll calculations, deductions, taxes and social security requirements.
• High attention to detail, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with ERP or accounting systems.
