Arabic to English Remote Interpreter – Night Shift

About the role

This permanent, work‑from‑home position requires you to provide Arabic‑to‑English consecutive interpretation for high‑stakes calls. You will be the voice that bridges language gaps in emergency rooms, 911 calls, court proceedings, insurance claims and other critical situations, all during night‑shift hours.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver accurate consecutive interpretation via phone and video for a wide range of sectors, including healthcare, emergency services, law enforcement, courts, insurance, finance and travel.
• Convey meaning, tone and intent while remaining neutral and professional.
• Navigate emotionally charged conversations with empathy, composure and discretion.
• Explain cultural nuances when language alone is insufficient.
• Use industry‑specific terminology precisely, especially in medical and legal contexts.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and follow client protocols on every call.

Required profile

• Fluent Arabic with strong listening and speaking skills.
• Minimum C1 CEFR level in written and spoken English.
• High emotional intelligence and ability to stay calm during distressing calls.
• Strong concentration, active listening, retention and note‑taking under pressure.
• Resilience to handle sensitive medical, accident or legal content without performance impact.
• Availability for permanent night‑shift work and a quiet, secure home work environment.

Required skills
