Assistant Project Manager

About the role

Egis is seeking an enthusiastic and detail‑oriented Assistant Project Manager to join its team in Amman, Jordan. You will work closely with experienced Project Managers and technical leads, supporting the planning, coordination, and delivery of infrastructure and construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Support Project Managers with day‑to‑day delivery activities and coordinate team efforts.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining project plans, schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
• Track project finances, monitor costs, and help ensure projects stay within budget.
• Contribute to the preparation of bids, tenders, and proposals with attention to detail.
• Coordinate and review design documentation and technical deliverables.
• Attend site inspections and support construction or implementation phases as needed.
• Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, and stakeholder communications.
• Apply quality, safety, and risk management systems consistently across projects.
• Maintain organized project documentation in line with company standards.
• Identify potential risks early and proactively escalate issues to Project Managers.

Required profile

• Prior experience in a Project Coordinator, Project Support, or similar administrative role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities with the capacity to prioritize competing demands.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Basic familiarity with project management software.
