BIM Modeler – Data Centre & Technical Buildings

About the role

The BIM Modeler will create and maintain accurate, clash‑free Building Information Models for data centre and technical building projects. Working closely with architectural, structural, MEP and ELV/ICT engineers, the role ensures that design intent is translated into construction‑ready models that meet project BIM Execution Plans and relevant standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed 3D BIM models for data centre and technical buildings using Autodesk Revit, Navisworks and related platforms.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineers to integrate federated models and resolve clashes via Navisworks Manage.
• Produce deliverables at LOD 300‑400, ensuring spatial clearances for UPS, PDUs, precision cooling units and cable management in line with TIA‑942 and EN 50600.
• Generate coordinated drawing sets and equipment layout plans for design teams and contractors.
• Maintain the Common Data Environment on Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM 360, handling model uploads, transmittals and revision control.
• Perform quantity take‑offs and material scheduling directly from the model to support procurement and cost planning.
• Prepare clash detection reports, model progress updates and BIM compliance status for project leadership.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings, design reviews and model walk‑throughs with stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of BIM modelling experience on complex infrastructure or mission‑critical projects.
• Fluent Arabic (reading, writing and speaking).

Required skills

• Proficiency with Autodesk Revit (MEP, Architecture, Structure).
• Experience using Navisworks Manage for clash detection and model coordination.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with Dynamo for BIM automation (advantage).
