Junior Design Engineer – HVAC or Mechanical Engineering

About the role

We are a well‑known engineering solutions company looking for a Junior Design Engineer to join our mechanical design team in Amman. The role offers hands‑on experience in HVAC and mechanical design, working under senior engineers from concept through execution on real client projects.

Key responsibilities

• Receive project requirements, review technical data and support the design team in preparing solutions that meet client specifications.
• Assist in load calculations, system selection, equipment sizing and preparation of master and as‑built drawings.
• Coordinate material and equipment needs with warehouses and the supply chain, and support the sales and operations departments with technical data.
• Prepare and review quantity schedules, BOQs, technical proposals and ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Update technical libraries, files and references, and contribute to continuous improvement of technical outputs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or HVAC (Air Conditioning & Refrigeration) Engineering.
• 0–1 years of experience in HVAC systems design, load calculations and preparation of drawings, BOQs and technical proposals.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience with HAP, Elite or similar HVAC design software.
• Knowledge of Revit MEP or other equipment‑selection tools (preferred).
• Strong computer skills, Microsoft Office applications.
• Fluent in Arabic and English (reading, writing, speaking).
