CCTV Operator – Hotel Security

About the role

The CCTV Operator will work on-site at Opal Hotel, monitoring the hotel's surveillance network around the clock. The role ensures the safety of guests, staff, and property by promptly detecting and reporting any suspicious activity or security incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Continuously monitor all CCTV cameras and related surveillance equipment during assigned shifts.
• Report any suspicious behavior, incidents, or breaches immediately to security and management teams.
• Maintain accurate incident logs and daily monitoring reports.
• Coordinate with security personnel during emergencies and assist in response actions.
• Verify that all cameras and recording devices are operational and perform basic troubleshooting.
• Preserve, retrieve, and hand over footage when required for investigations, ensuring confidentiality.
• Follow Opal Hotel’s security policies and procedures at all times.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in the hospitality sector.
• Previous experience in CCTV monitoring or security operations is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay focused during long monitoring periods.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights.
• Basic reporting and communication abilities.
• Fluent in Arabic; basic English is a plus.
