Commercial & Financial Analyst

About the role

Equiti is seeking a detail‑oriented Commercial & Financial Analyst to join its Data department in Amman. You will be responsible for delivering accurate commercial and financial reporting, supporting finance processes, and providing insight‑driven analysis to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Own recurring commercial and financial reporting, including sales targets vs. delivery, revenue, cost and margin.
• Support the automated end‑of‑quarter finance process, validating outputs against certified definitions.
• Analyze commercial performance across products, regions and client segments, identifying trends, risks and opportunities.
• Partner with Sales management to translate targets and incentive logic into certified metrics.
• Collaborate with Finance on cost allocation, margin methodology and group reporting definitions.
• Build Power BI reports and analyses for executive, regional and sales‑management audiences.
• Use AI‑assisted tools to accelerate analysis while ensuring final insight accuracy.
• Maintain rigorous documentation of metric definitions and respond to ad‑hoc commercial and financial queries.

Required profile

• 4+ years of commercial experience in BI development or analytics.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with solid P&L, revenue driver and margin analysis knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to turn data into narratives for senior audiences.
• Proven stakeholder management skills across Sales, Finance and executive teams.
• High attention to detail and ownership of number accuracy.
