Country Representative for OPT (Jordan)

About the role

IMPACT Initiatives is seeking a Country Representative to lead its OPT mission from Amman, Jordan. The position is a 24‑month fixed‑term contract starting in November 2026, with regular travel to the occupied Palestinian territories.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for the OPT programme.
• Oversee data collection, management and analysis activities across the Gaza Strip and West Bank.
• Coordinate programme design, assessments, monitoring and evaluation in line with IMPACT’s REACH, PANDA and AGORA initiatives.
• Represent IMPACT with local stakeholders, authorities and partners to ensure effective humanitarian response.
• Manage staff, budgets and operational logistics while ensuring security and compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in humanitarian or development contexts, preferably in the occupied Palestinian territories.
• Strong leadership and management capabilities for a multi‑sectoral mission.
• Ability to work in a volatile environment and navigate access constraints.

Required skills

• Experience with evidence‑based data collection and analysis.
• Knowledge of programme design, monitoring and evaluation methodologies.
