Data QA Specialist

About the role

Almosafer Travel & Tourism Co is seeking a Data QA Specialist to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of its data, AI, and machine‑learning solutions. The role blends data validation, automated testing, and AI model assessment to support seamless travel experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute data quality checks, validating accuracy, completeness, and consistency across source‑to‑target pipelines.
• Investigate data anomalies using SQL and Python, develop automated testing frameworks, and support regression testing for production data and ML models.
• Evaluate AI/ML models against business requirements, monitor performance, data drift, bias, and reliability in collaboration with Data Scientists and ML Engineers.
• Validate Generative AI, LLM, and Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) applications, testing for factuality, hallucinations, and bias; create prompt‑based test scenarios and continuous monitoring data.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to define quality standards, test strategies, acceptance criteria, and perform root‑cause analysis on defects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in Data QA, Data Science, Data Engineering, Machine Learning, or AI/ML testing.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Hands‑on experience with automated testing frameworks such as PyTest.
• Solid understanding of data quality concepts and machine‑learning fundamentals.
• Knowledge of prompt engineering and evaluation of AI/LLM applications.
• Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers and AI agent configuration files.
