Engineering Supervisor

About the role

The Engineering Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of all hotel equipment, safety systems, and facilities in Aqaba. This role combines hands‑on technical work with team leadership to maintain high standards of safety, guest service, and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and perform preventative maintenance on tools, appliances, and equipment.
• Calibrate controls, gauges, meters and operate shut‑off valves.
• Order, label, stock parts and manage inventory and purchase‑order logs.
• Conduct life‑safety checks, including fire‑pump and generator run tests, and inspect fire‑sprinkler valves and alarm systems.
• Assist in developing disaster‑response protocols and respond to guest repair requests.
• Support management with hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluation and employee coaching.
• Follow all safety, security and company policies, report hazards, and maintain required certifications.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree.
• Minimum 2 years of related engineering/maintenance experience.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
• No specific license or certification required.
