About the role
The Night Manager (Moonlight Manager) oversees all hotel operations during the overnight shift, ensuring the highest level of hospitality, safety, and service continuity for guests and the property.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor property operations during the overnight shift, ensuring compliance with operational guidelines, uniform standards, safety protocols, and inventory control.
- Review financial statements, sales reports and manage cash handling, chargebacks and rebates to support profitability and revenue goals.
- Assist in resolving guest issues, coordinate with Guest Relations, and ensure timely processing of invoices and accounts receivable.
- Support human‑resources activities such as attendance monitoring, employee morale initiatives, and weekly payroll processing.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED with at least four years of experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping or a related area.
- Or an associate degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or a related field with at least two years of relevant experience.
