About the role
We are looking for a research‑oriented physicist with strong Python skills to join our freelance AI‑training community. You will design and validate computational physics problems that are used to test, evaluate, and improve AI systems for leading tech companies.
Key responsibilities
- Design original computational physics problems that reflect real research workflows across mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, and quantum mechanics.
- Create problem statements that require Python programming (NumPy, SciPy, SymPy) and cannot be solved manually within reasonable timeframes.
- Develop and verify solutions using standard physics simulation libraries.
- Document problem statements clearly and provide verified correct answers.
Required profile
- Degree in Physics (theoretical, experimental, or computational) or a closely related field.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in research, applied physics, or teaching.
- Strong written English proficiency (C1+).
Required skills
- Python programming
- NumPy, SciPy, SymPy
- Pandas
- MATLAB, R, C, SQL, Stata (any can be equivalent)
- Experience with numerical simulation methods and physics modeling libraries
What we offer
- Project‑based work with an estimated 10–20 hours per week during active phases.
- Compensation up to $35 per hour, depending on expertise and contribution speed.
- Flexibility to work remotely on short‑term, non‑permanent assignments.
