Full-time Lifeguard

About the role

Join the hospitality team at a Marriott resort in Aqaba as a Lifeguard. You will ensure the safety of guests in the swimming area while contributing to a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor swimmers and intervene promptly using appropriate rescue techniques.
• Observe the pool area for hazardous conditions, unsafe activities, or guests in distress.
• Enforce facility rules and regulations and report any violations.
• Provide first‑aid assistance to injured guests until emergency services arrive.
• Maintain cleanliness of the pool deck, towels, and surrounding areas.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management.
• Support guests with disabilities and ensure a courteous, professional service experience.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No prior lifeguard experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods and lift up to 50 lb unaided.
• Physical capability to run, climb ladders, and move on slippery surfaces.

Required skills

• CPR Certification.
• First Aid Certification.
