Global Process Owner - Order to Cash

About the role

The Finance Global Process Owner – Order to Cash leads the worldwide O2C function, ensuring efficient financial operations, compliance and value creation across multiple regions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the global Order to Cash (O2C) team across shared service centres, ensuring high performance in all regions.
• Oversee the end‑to‑end O2C process – order management, invoicing, credit control and collections – for a portfolio of over $2 bn receivables, driving consistency and efficiency worldwide.
• Develop and execute cash‑flow optimisation strategies to reduce DSO and minimise bad‑debt write‑offs.
• Monitor global accounts receivable, enforce internal controls and ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations.
• Prepare and present regular O2C performance reports to senior management, highlighting value‑creation opportunities.
• Lead transformation and continuous‑improvement initiatives, leveraging automation and process re‑engineering.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Professional finance certification such as CPA, CMA, ACCA or CIMA.
• 10‑15 years of progressive finance experience with a strong focus on order‑to‑cash cycles in a multinational environment.
• Proven leadership of global finance or shared‑services teams, with a track record of managing cross‑cultural groups.
• Demonstrated experience delivering finance transformation projects and process automation.

Required skills

• Extensive hands‑on experience with major ERP systems – SAP, Oracle and Microsoft Dynamics.
• Knowledge of workflow automation and process integration tools within ERP environments.
