Senior Accountant

About the role

Migrate Global is seeking a detail‑oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join its dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, and review financial statements and management reports.
• Manage the general ledger and ensure accurate and timely record‑keeping.
• Oversee month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Prepare and review tax returns, reports, and related documentation.
• Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws, regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Research and interpret tax legislation, regulatory updates, and their impact on the business.
• Collaborate with accounting, finance, and cross‑functional teams on tax‑related matters.
• Support internal and external audit processes and liaise with auditors as required.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience with significant exposure to taxation and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, accounting standards, and applicable tax laws and regulations.
• Proven experience in tax preparation, tax compliance, and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational abilities.
