Graduate Engineer – Roads & Civil Design

About the role

Egis is looking for a motivated Graduate Engineer to join its Roads and Civil Design team in Amman. This entry‑level position offers the chance to work on a variety of road and civil infrastructure projects, supporting the full design lifecycle from concept to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the design and analysis of road and civil infrastructure using industry‑standard software.
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications and design documentation in line with relevant codes and standards.
• Conduct site surveys, collect data and support design development decisions.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative engineering solutions.
• Review and quality‑assure design outputs to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Contribute to design reports and technical presentations for clients and stakeholders.
• Maintain organised project records throughout the design process.

Required profile

• Recent graduate in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering design principles, especially for roads and transportation infrastructure.
• Ability to produce accurate technical drawings and documentation.
• Willingness to learn, develop professionally and stay updated on emerging design methodologies.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD software, such as AutoCAD or Civil 3D.
