Electrical Engineer - Infrastructure (Dry Utilities)

About the role

Egis, an international engineering, consulting and construction firm active in architecture, infrastructure and mobility services, is hiring a Dry Utilities Engineer in its Infrastructure team in Amman. You will help design and implement dry utilities for various projects, working closely with senior engineers, supporting project delivery and ensuring technical excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the design and implementation of dry utilities, in line with industry standards and project requirements.
• Prepare drawings and documentation under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Work with project teams, including senior engineers and technicians, to deliver successful project outcomes.
• Help prepare technical and bid proposals, supporting business development.
• Keep up with industry trends and best practices and integrate them into project work.
• Provide technical support to clients, contractors and other stakeholders as needed.
• Help manage project schedules, budgets and resources for timely, cost-effective delivery.
• Take part in team meetings and contribute to improving technical processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in dry utilities.
• Experience designing dry utilities, including HV, MV and LV, street lighting, landscape lighting, substation and pump station design.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a multidisciplinary team, strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
