Head of Facilities Management

About the role

The Head of Facilities Management will provide strategic leadership and global oversight for the Facilities Management function, ensuring that all hard and soft services, security, and health & safety standards support Arab Bank’s business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor global FM policies, procedures, standards and budgets.
• Oversee planning, delivery and continuous improvement of maintenance, security, cleaning, pest control, waste management, landscaping, hospitality and related services across all locations.
• Lead selection and management of external service providers, including KPI definition, performance contracts and RFP/RFI/RFQ processes.
• Direct upgrades, modifications and optimisation initiatives leveraging advanced technologies for performance and sustainability.
• Build, mentor and lead a high‑performing multidisciplinary FM team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 15 years of relevant experience, including at least 10 years in a senior facilities management role.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership and performance‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Technical expertise in banking and facilities management systems.
• Knowledge of FM and ISO standards.
