Helpdesk and Assets Administrator

About the role

The Helpdesk and Assets Administrator will be the primary point of contact for all service requests related to IT helpdesk and facilities asset management. This role ensures smooth operation of user accounts, space management, and the Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) system while maintaining high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain procedures and standards for help‑desk and asset services.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and monitor space allocation, signage, and lifecycle of assets.
• Receive, log, classify, prioritize and assign service requests via calls, email or CAFM.
• Track work order status, ensure timely closure, and provide regular updates to customers.
• Supervise performance and service levels of facilities management services and generate system reports.
• Administer the CAFM system, resolve queries, and escalate complex issues.
• Prepare work orders, asset performance reports, and customer satisfaction surveys.
• Identify improvement opportunities in procedures, technology and AI initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Facilities Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in large facility‑management companies, help‑desk, technical support or customer service.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and data accuracy.
