Hostess – Guest Service in Aqaba

About the role

The Hostess is the first point of contact for guests entering the restaurant. You will create a welcoming atmosphere, manage seating flow, and ensure each guest experiences smooth and attentive service throughout their visit.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, determine party size, and escort them to clean, prepared tables.
• Pull out chairs, place menus, and verify that each setting includes a napkin, clean silverware, and any other required items.
• Monitor dining room capacity, adjust seating arrangements for groups with special needs, and keep the floor organized.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas using clean‑as‑you‑go procedures and ensure menus are current and wrinkle‑free.
• Follow all company safety, security, and uniform policies, reporting any incidents promptly.
• Answer telephone calls with professional etiquette and support team members to achieve shared goals.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• No prior related work experience required.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Capability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
• Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
