Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic, guest‑focused Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team in delivering exceptional cleanliness and service standards throughout the hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and allocate daily job assignments for housekeeping attendants.
• Issue keys, supplies and equipment to staff and manage inventory.
• Monitor VIP, Do Not Disturb, Sleep‑Out and double‑lock rooms and take appropriate actions.
• Attend daily briefings, receive special instructions and handle guest requests.
• Inspect cleaned areas using checklists to ensure standards are met and report repairs.
• Process check‑outs, update room status and coordinate with front‑office.
• Supervise cleaning of guest rooms, corridors, stairwells and public areas.
• Train and mentor housekeeping attendants, reporting performance to superiors.
• Maintain housekeeping equipment and ensure proper handling.

Required profile

• Diploma or vocational training in hospitality.
• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping with some supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, problem‑solving and cross‑cultural sensitivity.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Opera property management system (advantage).
