Lead Mechanical Technical Office Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Lead Mechanical Technical Office Engineer to head the mechanical design activities for Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) and power plant projects. The successful candidate will develop engineering solutions, ensure compliance with international standards, and guide a multidisciplinary design team throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design and engineering for CCGT and power plant projects.
• Develop, review, and approve design calculations, technical specifications, datasheets, and engineering drawings.
• Provide expertise on major plant components such as gas turbine generators, HRSGs, cooling water, boiler feed water, pumps, compressors, fuel gas systems, and balance of plant equipment.
• Participate in technical evaluations, equipment selection, and EPC project coordination.
• Mentor junior engineers and oversee design team deliverables.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 10‑15 years of experience in mechanical design for CCGT, thermal power, or large power generation projects.
• Proven knowledge of all major power plant mechanical systems and equipment.
• Strong technical reporting, engineering calculations, and design review capabilities.
• Excellent English communication skills.
