Lifeguard – 6‑Month Limited Contract

About the role

Join the hospitality team at Ritz‑Carlton Residences Amman as a Lifeguard on a six‑month limited contract. You will ensure the safety and enjoyment of guests using the pool facilities while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor swimmers, identify distress, and apply appropriate rescue techniques.
• Enforce pool rules and regulations, and intervene in unsafe activities.
• Provide first‑aid assistance and support injured guests until emergency services arrive.
• Maintain cleanliness of the pool deck, towels, and surrounding areas.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management.
• Inspect equipment for defects and ensure all safety devices are functional.
• Deliver courteous guest service, including welcoming guests and assisting individuals with disabilities.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Valid CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lb unassisted and 75 lb with assistance.
• Comfort working on wet, slippery surfaces and climbing ladders.
• Willingness to work full‑time onsite and adhere to company policies.

Required skills
