Lifeguard

About the role

Join the team at Dead Sea Marriott Resort & Spa as a Lifeguard, ensuring the safety and enjoyment of guests in the pool area. You will be responsible for monitoring swimmers, responding to emergencies, and maintaining a welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities

• Observe the swimming area for dangerous conditions, unsafe activities, and swimmers in distress.
• Apply appropriate rescue techniques and provide first‑aid assistance until emergency services arrive.
• Promote and enforce pool rules and regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness of the pool deck, towels, and surrounding areas.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management.
• Welcome guests, ensure professional appearance, and assist individuals with disabilities.
• Perform routine inspections of equipment and facilities.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lb unassisted and 75 lb with assistance.
• Capability to work in a fast‑paced, outdoor environment and respond quickly.
• Commitment to confidentiality, company policies, and quality standards.
